Foster Program

Foster Program

Our foster program is a way that you can care for kittens and cats on a temporary basis until they are ready for adoption. During the time they are in the foster’s care, food, litter and medical care will be provided by FFACS. Foster homes will provide a nurturing environment that will include opportunities to socialize the cats with dogs, children and other cats, give medications if necessary, and transport to and from vet clinic, Spay/Neuter clinic and mobile adoption sites when necessary. Foster parents will also be required to make their own vet appointments with FFACS vet and with Spay/Neuter Clinic. Fosters must love cats or kittens and have a very good understanding of cat behavior and have lots of patience.
